I might pick up this joint today. I don't want to use resample to make beats and i'm sick of the 404's sequencer. I can use this and extract the files from the SD card onto my CPU for further processing. |

I bought a Zoom R16 about 3 years ago (used). I loved it. But unfortunately 1 by 1 the inputs went fuzzy. I really want to get it working again. Multi-track recorders are great for hardware only set ups, especially when you want to combine multiple pieces of gear. With the R16 I had 8 mono inputs (4 stereo inputs), I used it everyday until it stopped working. If I remember correctly the R8 has 4 inputs (4 mono or 2 stereo). If you're trying to avoid the computer I think the R8 would come in handy. |

I thought mostly about it's sampling and resampling cappabilities, not just as a multitrack. I have Casette multitrack... |
