Okay has anyone else tripped off the fact that the 404 makes you waste alot of flash card space? I have 1gig cards that I know I am not filling up all the way but due to only being able to save 12 pads worth of sequences I know I am not useing the whole card.

This one is alot better than the first one. The beat is funky. The vocals are slowly growing on me but still a lil odd. But definately a nice effort.

Yeah everything is done on the 404. And I just mixed them onto cd. Good lookin' out on the feedback. There will be more coomming when I mix down the next batch.

I like the SP-404 because it forces you to push your creativity due to it's limitations. And once you realize you can make good music with the machine it inspires you to see how you can freak your next beat. I am a MPC 2000 head myself but after using the 404 I won't say I think it's way better than ...

The pitch shifter is to me the biggest flaw on the SP-404. Like Cheenergies said about shifteing the bass tones, it works for that but resampling shifted tones loses quality. I think it is a challenge because you can't just use any sample because of this flaw but as well it limits alot of potential ...
