Unfortunately no luck with the smartmedia card....got one today, but the 303 doesn't recognize it. Also tried updating the OS through a midi sequencer and no luck there either.
Any other suggestions out there?

I could really use some help on this one. I recently purchased an SP-303 that (knowingly) does not work. It powers up, but just displays the number '8' on the screen, while nothing else works. Does anyone know if the SP-303 would have error codes? Any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting ...
