thanx pt3r and driz. appreciate the big up. i recently got a SP-555 because of that beautiful midi out port. i also got a MIDI Solutions Quadra Thru which is takes one MIDI in and spits it to 4 MIDI outs. My entire hardware collection can sync to the clock of the SP-555. OMG it is sick.

Ok, thought you might have meant that. I don't have a lot of experience with that feature. I did see that there was a firmware update on the Roland site that dealt with loop capture but can't confirm it deals with your issue. Maybe someone with more experience can help you out. Good Luck-gos
