The SP-202 doesn’t have enough going on inside to manage a filesystem, it’s writing raw data directly to the card, so there’s nothing for an OS to mount.

While we're on the subject of the 808s FX, i'll also tell you about a secret trick I've discovered, @Headphones.. :wink:
There's a couple of algorithms on the 808 that when you combine them you get an amazing Vinyl Sim style FX simulator...
Vinyl simulation is one of the stock preset effects ...

Also, for $200 you could just buy an Akai MCD card reader, which is a drop-in that doesn’t require any futzing. That price is nutso.

Unfortunately, you can have either the hard drive, or the beat matching/effects/synthesizer/sequencer from the 808, but not both.

Less confusing and more direct answer: no, you can’t copy samples between pads on the 202, and there’s no internal resampling.
