It was tough against concrete belly's the sample selection was dope and was busy and filled really well.

worked this last minute, but pretty happy with the results. (except the solo)
used some drum and game sounds samples, recorded a few guitar parts and mashed it together

I think nagatosx took this one. I really like how the samples were taken and made into something completely different. Plus the beat was just dirty and hard hitting. I really enjoyed it. Nice work to the rest of you guys as well!

I used the Johnny Hodges/Ben Webster as my main source of chops. I used the drum video(agreed this was a bit difficult, but after lots of effects and manipulating got it) I took a kick, a hat/snare ...

I feel like it might be a bit of an advantage when composing on the 303 with such a limit. It forces you to make a track and then release it off in into the wild. but live sets im sure are near impossible.

I do the same thing with naming! "that one reverby snare thing"

I have been really filling up and saving EVERYTHING that I make and just keeping it on my SD card. I've filled up every bank with a beat and just considered saving all of the fills and kinda starting over.

So how do you organize your beats? Do you make one and cook it for awhile til you are ...
