Yep went with AudioShare, it was actually perfect for what I needed.

If you want a simple solution id just make a lossless copy and stick all of your drum hits on Soundcloud as a couple of individual tracks and set them to private...

Awesome idea, hadn't thought of this but definitely worth putting together to have on hand.
