Yeah it can get pretty crunchy. Not SP1200 crunchy but still nice, especially when you sample into it at high speed/pitch to maximize sample time. But yeah 4 seconds isn’t shit. It does create its own loop tho so if you sample a synth, it won’t click when the cycle starts over. I’ll sample my ...

Any MKS-100 users?

Copped one of these in a trade a while back. Cool sampler, very simple to use. Nice 12 bit crunch. Sounds great on drums. Think it has like 4 seconds of sample time lol. Mainly use it for runnin drum breaks into at high speeds/pitch and then playing it back at normal speed or lower.

MV is a beast. Had one for a year or so. Loved it but ultimately sold it after getting an Ableton Push, was just too slow in comparison. Bang for buck tho the MV can’t be touched. I’d cop another if one popped up at a good price. It’s a shame they only had 2 MIDI outs and the output expansion board ...
