Another option is to look into an affordable 2 channel mixer. I'm using a Gemini M-101 Usb and I just record my performance into my DAW, no real hassles. Could be an easier way for you to bounce samples around without always relying on memory card transfers.

I'm running two sp404sx's through a numark 2 channel usb mixer, which let's me record my sessions into a daw, and I can also perform live if I choose to hook up to an amp.

Play De Record, usually have a wide variety of old and new.

Two Sp-404sx's and a Numark m101usb mixer is my setup. I've also got an Akai mpd26 and FL Studio, so I can switch out from the sampler in channel 2 on the mixer and incorporate the pc and midi controller.

I've been aggressively hunting down as much info as I could find on the sp404sx before finally getting my hands on two brand new units a week ago, and seemingly out of nowhere they announce an Sp-404A. I'm blown away because I've heard nothing about it, but at the same time I'm happy I got the sx ...
