does anybody know how i can get the samples to sample with the effects? all of a sudden it seems as if i cant hear the effects on the sample when sampling,its like the effects turn off when i sample them

thanks for ur responce.. I actually don't use a computer only hardware .. I have a cheap Yamaha KB and a novation k station... just figured it would sound better to add effects to a sample and have it chopped on the keys to see what comes out .. if u can help me there it would be much appreciated

new to this,want to chop a sample and play it on my keyboard,not sure how can anyone give a idiot help
