Studio wiring may look different for different people because they often need different things. If this setup works for you, then by all means, roll with it!

Anyone have any experience interfacing their sp with an iphone/ipad?
Ultimately im looking to record/sequence stuff off the sp onto my iphone.
Is it as simple as running a a TRRS 1/8 to rca? Do i need something like an IRig?

I'd assume (I don't have an iOS product) that you can run a 1/8'' to RCA ...

Is this an ideal studio setup? I'm still running through different setups to determine which one(s) benefits me the most.

just blessed my setup with one not too long ago, first SP. utilizing a turntable, mixer, maschine and now SP added. I normally don't RTFM but I definitely did have to humble down and read it.
