I contacted mpc-stuff .. they now have a 404 and are looking into it fingers crossed.

Are the pads on the 404A the same as 404/404SX (apart from colour)?

Recently got an SP-404SX, liking everything so far apart from the clicky pads. I also have an MPC 1000 with mpc-stuff fat pads, nice and squishy. I think I tend to annoy the others in the house tapping away on the pads at night.

Are there any options/hacks/ideas for quieter pads? I don't ...
