Hey forum peepz, been a while. Although I wasn't very chatty to begin with.
Some new joints I'm pretty proud of on here, and a bunch of drops since the last time I was on here too, some sp-only, some half-sp, some no sp at all.

I find the computer editor to be pretty useful myself, although I tend to just grab patches from around the internet and mess with them on the fly (if at all). Lazy.

If you want, I can send you what I have on my microKORG right now, some of them are pretty alright.

Layering, layer your track to shit, then sit back for a bit pulling it apart and spreading it out, depending on how you've done it, you might have some seriously tonal changups, choruses, bridges, you could even end up making an entirely different sounding track with different combinations.

Bounced TVDiNNER through a very wonky/warbly tape player once. Totally messed up the original mix and I loved it.
I've used circuit bent equipment before, and some weird battery-nudging tricks on casio keyboards is a must.

100% back the idea, you can always find use for equipment even if it's gone ...

I simply feel like we ought to be open with this one, sampling straight from hardware is dope, if you're able to get a vgm type cart in order to modify the music playback within the hardware that's cool too. Just, for a myriad of reasons, some cats don't have hardware available to them, and I don't ...

I'm planning on using a plugin on Foobar2000 called Game Emu Player, playing back ripped .vgm files from a genesis game, isolating channels in order to sample what i want (cutting out drums, soloing certain instruments) and sampling them through the SP, THEN flipping them.
