If you do not need multi track there are many options. Zoom has quite a few. I had the Zoom H1 did a great job. Simple stereo RCA to 1/8" stereo cable all that is needed. And you can plug it in USB to computer and use it as a recording interface using the mics or the line in.

I'll give the adapters a shot, and if it doesn't do what I'm trying to get it to do, I'll return or sell it for something else. But, thanks for the info, bro! I appreciate it. See ya round the forum-verse.

Looks like the unit can only record 2 mono signals at a time. You arin? currently sending a stereo signal to a mono input. Think of it as an 8 track mono recorder or 4 track stereo recorder. You do have the stereo master track you can mix down to.
