So thinking about copping one of these. I want something I can make beats on without the computer and later if I want to flesh them out more record them into reaper to add vstis and mix. Anybody working similar to this? How easy is it to solo the different samples to record to separate tracks in ...

you could sequence your loops inside the sample track then place the "volume/bass" (with volume set to zero) on all pads except the one pad you're recording in. you would have to do this for each part of the song you want to record but i don't think there's a faster way..

wanting to get into making tracks and bought a sampletrak and 49key midi controller. I think I want to use reaper as a daw.How would you guys recommend sequencing the sample track in reaper so I can put all my sounds on separate tracks.
