you have to set the samples you're going to use to Gate playback (so they play only when the pad is pressed). this way you get your sample played as long as you want to and if you play around with quantize i think you ...

yeah, i'm curious about it too - this MIDI controllers are just control boxes ? i mean their knobs/sliders, pads/keys can be assigned to some software functions and control them but while using with hardware (like 404) i won't be able to play samples in different pitches, right ?

for sure some synth would be good, i'm gonna look closer at the micron. some multitrack or more advanced sampler, if multi then br-600, if sampler maybe 606. i have to ...
