Ok through trials and tribulations, i.'m finally able to start funding my home studio set up and need a few questions answered before i start buying things.

I'll be running a hard/software set up consisting of :

Laptop - Reason, FL,etc. (have)
SP404 or 505

well i've decided that I may just eventually end up getting both (as long as prices stay the same for used 505s), so now the question is which to get first and what equipment do I need to get started?
