if i want my drums on track 1, my bassline on track 2 and my sample on track 3, i need 2 more devices, right? for example my laptop and a walkman

i am not really sure how you use a 4-track cassette recorder. do you just put the SP on one track and record from the SP to cassette? are these other 3 tracks useless if i only use one sp303, no instruments, no microphone/rapping.

i just want to thank y'all for the great content, i am digging these forums non stop since yesterday morning. when it comes to making beats i am a newbie but you guys are being really really helpful!

@ your pitch question: afaik the DSP Pitch Effect is able to pitchshift the sample, that means it does not effect the length of the sample just modulates the tone.

you can use this effect also in realtime! while speeding up your voice via microphone in realtime isn't possible
