I recorded a pattern with a beat and a sample, 4 bars in length. When I hit play, the beat always starts right away as I recorded it, but the sample always comes in later. Frustrating!!
Could someone please tell me how to fix this where they all start at the same time as I recorded the pattern.

I know I probably asked a stupid question, but I do appreciate the responses.
I have to get used to using MARK to fine tune the samples. In the SP-505 I used the onscreen waveform to edit the sample, now I have to do it without actually seeing it.

Just got a SP-404sx and can't figure out how to get the whole sample to play by tapping the pad once. If I take my finger off the pad, the sample stops.
