lol good thing you're getting one now, rather than 6 months ago. 303's in new condition were selling for like 500+ lol. I have two, one in brand new condition and one i got 10 years ago. works perfect but the ctrl 3 knob is loose so you have to fidget with it sometimes. I'd be willing to part ways ...

it's a more traditional way to make beats in an SP. same advantages you get over any non-resampled system. consistency, even if you use the same exact drum loop, getting the same exact loop over and over again on multiple pads can be messy. sometimes a transition into a chorus can be janky. maybe ...

I've made whole tapes with just this method on the 303. superfun, almost too easy if you have bpm's synced up. Also can be frustrating if timing is slightly off and you need to resample the external source again
