finished and uploaded this tape yesterday hopefully you guys enjoy, most of the tape has beats made with maschine but three beats where made with the sp303(14.53) the 404sx (18.48) and 202+404sx (20.36).

Finally finished this beat tape featuring beats as far back as a year ago right up to now. Its a big boy goes for 30mins but its worth it. This i think is my best work i hope you guys dig it... ill soon put it up tonight on bandcamp for no minimum donation.

what is it like recording beats/loops on the tascam 424? Could you give me some insight into the process because I am seriously considering buying a tascam 424 III for mixing and beats.
Do you find it challenging working with cassette tapes?

got these recently
a tascam 424mk 2, has a really nice raw sound to it get one if you see one going cheap. has a nice sounding mixer even if your not recording to tape. loads of connections and a cool pitch knob (tape motor speed)

and i also got a tascam dr 05, i got it for mobile recording ...

the footage was real trippy not too many pimps tho lol, enjoyed this tape and its sound, did you record the beats to a non 'hi-fi' type vcr? ive got a newer hi-fi vcr and it saturates the sound ok but i wish it was dirtier, might have to buy an older one.
