I'm pretty sure that you can't use the metronome when using the re-sample method, so I was just wondering how you would keep your drums at the correct tempo without straying off time constantly?

I have found previous topics to help me with the pattern copy trick. But another question that arises is, when you have all your desired patterns copied to separate pads, do you have to play the whole beat out live onto an external source (i.e. tape deck), or is there another way to get the full ...

Thank you for the reply. When I try the pattern copy trick, rather than duplicate the pattern so it's on 2 separate pads it just moves the pattern to another pad. Do you know how to fix this?

I copped an SP-303 within the last week and am still trying to get to grips with it, after using DAW's for the past few years I can now say that I much prefer analogue type hardware, but anyway.....
