Generally I use LMMS, because the only thing I do on this is using vsti's. The problem with this DAW is when I try to do a whole beat, after the addition of a few plugins it crashes. Then I use Tunafish 1.8, but it happens rarely.

Haha, thanks, man. I just like to have space when working on my screen. And those speakers, i think they are way too big for near field monitoring, but the sound is great, so i'm using those till i get my budget right for real monitors

I got Behringer B-2 (from the time when Behringer were made in Germany, not the later produced B-2 Pro which in made in China). I bought it from my friend years ago for 100€. It was just dusting in he's shelf, so he didn't need it and i got a damn good microphone for cheap :D The sound is pure gold ...

Got the Akai S3000xl (made in Japan version) yesterday with maxed out memory. The sound is pure awesomeness

Last year, when I was still using FL Studio, i actually did this with my beats. I recorded drums, samples etc. individually, one at the time to FL Studio and then sequenced the the beat again. This gives you a lot more possibilities when mixing your beats.
