Hey guys if youve heard lo-fi synth beats vol 1 and 2 you know i usually do synth based beats. for this one i took all the sample based beats ive made and put them together for one tape.

was looking at getting a microkorg but im interested in being able to create deep fat kick/bass drums like 808s. << is this possible on most synths or is is something i would specifically need a kind of a drum synth for?

sample in bass notes one at a time assign them to individual pads and then just play the bass notes by triggering the pads.

basically you have to sample your bass notes and then sequence them rather than play into it to overdub over your track.

as far as levels go a good way to still have a good mixdown when resampling would be to first sequence it in the pattern sequencer. then once youved mixed down and eqd everything the way you want. rebuild it with the resample method.

try sampling the kick drum of

i got that kick as a stock sound on my sx. filter and compress
