ima have to say the 404sx over the og 404 deffinitly. the copy pattern fuction is so incredibly handy. I have had those problems where the sample cuts off. and sum times when im sampling it with glitch or something when i play it back. but you just have to record again, kind of annoying, but the ...

you just made my life so much easier. as much as i love making beats on the 404 randomly, when you've been working on stuff for awhile and thinking about it and you know it exactly what it needs to be but you can't play it or working with like 8 bar loops or something it can get pretty tiresome.. so ...

yeah man i adjust on the sampler and then bounce to computer. then throw a compressor on the whole mix. then run it to a tape deck and then run it back to the computer, putting it on tape normalizes fantastically.

how would you do it with itunes? im confused.

i left it on for like 30 mins just plugged in (not spazzin) and opened it up and touched the main chip and holy fuck it burnt my finger so bad that i immediately got a blister.

makes a pretty sweet paper weight i suppose... EXCEPT NOT AT ALL!

thanks! i got so caught up with the samples i dint even think about the bass! but when i put it into the computer i will definitely add some. any suggestions on what type? like low drones or big stabs??
