It depends on what machines and samples i'm using but there's always some noise that gets boosted when i use the vinyl sim. I tried to avoid the noise for a while and make beats sound clean but finally i gave in and learned to love the noise. Now when i do beats on other boxes i often miss the noise ...

I'm not on SP-forums too often anymore. Came here every once in a while to see if Culp brought out another gem. Wasn't expecting it this time but WOW! :o It's here! Haven't listened to it yet but will in a few minutes. You've always been a big inspiration. Love your stuff.

Haha yeah, i'm still thinking about selling it now and then because of the stupid money. I still don't know what will happen. One day i know i'll keep it forever, next day i think about cashing it.

Yeah, the vinyl sim IS different, right? Sometimes i think it's stupid to keep it just because of the sim but it really is something special that i 'd probably miss. Good points there admb!

i think i would sell it to you because i know it would be in good hands of a sp-head. but i'm in germany and shipping costs are just too much.

Thank you for your thoughts guys! I decided to keep it for now because i'll probably miss it. Funny to see how the opinions differ. Mirrors how i think about it. One day i want to sell it, next day i know i'll keep it.

Thanks for further advice! Now the decision didn't get any easier. But it's good to hear both sides. Learning to let go of things is definitely a lesson to learn for me. But the silvery classy looking 303 indeed holds some sentimental value to me. Hm...

You're probably right. But i also kept it because i made dope beats with it and everytime i'll listen to them i'll be a little sad. And because Madlib and JDilla and... used it. :) But that's not really a reason to keept it. Or is it? :mrgreen:
