i find the tascam quite easy and quite confusing at the same time to be honnest...
another stupid question: is it possible to overwrite a take? coz every time i try to do so the playback keeps playing :?

MUTE & PAN

Been reading through all the previous posts but was just wondering what is the best solution to pan a sample from left to right without using the phaser effect. on the 303.
Also, what is the best way to mute a snare or something from your drum pattern? Is it best to record it live?

edit: just gave it a try, for some reason I have the impression that when I put both tracks to the exact same volume they kind of cancel each other... :roll:

+ i can not hear what I have recorded

(I found the manual not very clear)

so using a rca to 1/4 jack yeah?

but what if let's say I have a stereo sample I would like to record, then using this technic I will loose the stereo no?
