i left it on for a day and a half about a week ago. when i played patterns or samples it either didnt play them at all or played sounds i didnt even recognize. turned it off, turned it back on.... everything was fine.

so i picked a record player off the curb the other day and its in pretty good condition, except that the previous owner mangled the audio wires. what i have now is about an inch of the original wires with rcas stripped down and taped to them... equaling shitty sound.
can anyone give me tips on how ...

noob here. about to buy a 404 as my first piece of real hardware but have a few questions.
1. is it possible with overdubbing to record a full track into a pattern or are you limited to a loop
2. or is there a better alternative (my comp is messed plus live wont start)
