Re: Seen the new Roland P-6?

I’m on night two of owning the Roland P-6. I’m in the middle of moving so my time has been limited to just a few hours over two nights right before bed.

I was very fluent on the OG Roland SP-404. Because of this, I was able to migrate to the sp-606 with ease. More recently, I picked up the Roland ...

I went with Eelxb. Great track.

Re: New standalone MPC(s)

Hey Ill Green, can you comment on any included virtual instruments or samples that come loaded on the machine?

Are there lots of instrument sounds you can play with a midi keyboard hooked up?

While I'm interested in this unit myself, I'm asking for a friend who really liked the numerous sounds ...

Re: SPBB#199 POLL

I had to go with Alnitak Kid. I logged on and heard that one before the deadline and have been bumping it all week. Nice job.

Re: I think I hate midi/need studio help

Yeah I'm in the same boat. I look at a computer a lot throughout the day and so I try to stick to hardware as much as possible, which isn't hard because my computer kind of sucks anyways.

As for a hardware sequencer, if you're looking for drum sequencing capabilities so you can trigger an SP, check ...

Re: I think I hate midi/need studio help

...lately i've been fuckin around with the Dakim delay trick and its blowing my mind.

I happened to sell the RS7000 just yesterday. While I know it's a beast, I just don't have much time to learn a completely new instrument right now. Can anyone suggest a different sequencer that is relatively ...

Re: I think I hate midi/need studio help

I guess my question is do you guys use sequencers much? I think my main problem is that I am very new to them. I even have an RS7000 but I haven't used it all that much yet. I am trying to get my head around sequencing on the esq-1, but it just seems less hassle to multitrack record stuff. But I ...

Re: SPBB#198 POLL

I had to go with the track by Last Try. I really liked the overall ambience of the track combined with the drums which sounded sort of like they were from an 80's drum machine or something. Great vibe to this entire track and I loved the depth of the samples in contrast to the drums.
