I was just dusting off Bankrobber and uploaded a recent version but as we know Adobe AIR is pretty much dead so I was also looking into an Electron port but you pretty much did it already.

I will look into the codebase to see if I can contribute ...

I originally conceived Bankrobber in 2011 and released the software as a freeware. Since then a lot of time passed and I completely forgot about it. From time to time I got some questions about it, but most of the issues were solved by the community which was pretty nice to see ...

Pattern editor is in the works. It's a bit complicated to get the UI right, but I try to ...

Dishwater, bankrobber doesn't need anything from the internet, so I assume this has to do with some kind of autoupdater built into flash player.
Probably just checks if a newer version is available.

I'm going to investigate the 505 this week.
It's going to be a hard nut to crack, but I'll see what I can do.

It should support aif files, but since I implemented that some times ago, it's possible I broke that in the process. I will look at the code to see what happens.

one question: are the sample parameters in the software the same as they are on the hardware? which is to say, can you introduce panning via the software, or is that a no-go?

As far as I know there's no panning support on the SP (besides applying effects to the sample and resample)

I just wanted to demonstrate the looping capabilities, half and double the loop length, move the looping area etc.
You can edit the start and end points manually too, but I did not touch on it here.

BPM calculation is also shown but it's a bit blurry in the video ...

There were some interesting details in writing the wav / aiff files to the card: each sample must have its own Roland information ...
