I think they might sound more or less the same because the both have the same AWM2 sound generator chip.
But I have to get my hands on a AN200 to check it out.

My next machine will be the SP-404. I will catch one for 120EUR.
I also have a deal for a SP-202 for 60EUR.
Do you think it's worth get ...

Thank you for your reply mate,

The Yamaha RM1X is a very underrated machine. It is the best hardware sequencer I ever used, and It's sounds once tweaked are very good. Most people don't bother to learn the machine. It took me almost 6 months be be half-ninja with with

Hey guys,
New user here. I use a ROland MS-1 for... everything. I love that little beast. Been using it for so long, that I'm a ninja with it.
I'm going to get a SP-404 soon, and I was thinking about also getting a SP-202. Do you guys think it's a good deal to get the 202 or redundant?

Roland MS-1 - Field recorded noises
Yamaha DX27 - Noise
No computers were used.
