thanks for the tip great idea..

It record audio, I think it can do midi too but Im not concerned with that. I just want to record simple 4 bar measures into the sp404 to loop over my drums, to then be able to sequence and have to perform live etc.

I've gone through the whole forum and searched google, if I'm missing it I apologize...any links?or insight on this?

I did search the forum, read the manual as well. I stated I was a new sp user, what is a work around or solution that most producers working on a sp do?
