does anyone else do this..ever try listening to your music through your sp and turn on the reverb and pretend you're listening to live music?

lots of good beats! for me it was between halcyon and and-o. halcyon's had good consistent head nods throughout the track and also well mixed. and-o's was on the SP-technical experimental side but kept the funk intact, good stuff.

I never really gave it much thought till now but I always place my snares on the left side of the pads and the kicks on the right side. I guess the reason is when I find myself drumming on tables with my hands I always have my left hand play as a snare and my right hand as a kick.

good stuff. what im wondering is if a headphone has a frequency range of 5hz to 30hz (my sony v6 for example) then surely that would mean that if it sounds good using these headphones then it must also sound good when the music is played on any other headphones, speakers, whatever you have to ...

alright so i dont have decent monitors and have shitty computer speakers and the only decent thing i have to listening with is headphones.
i use a sony v6, good cans but not too much on the low end and the treble can sometimes be piercing.
