Thanks for the reply. I thought that maybe you could do it because the Boss rc 50 works like that but that's okay because I can use a ext metronome in the head phones ......set the 404 sx BPM to off and let the auto time set the BPM. Still love this thing. Zdog

Is there a way to keep the metronome going when your recording a sample and not just have a count in? Zdog
