Do any of you #=#'ers know if there is a way to truncate all samples in one jiffy ? haha.

Not that i dont like spending time with my Dr.Sample<3,
but i tend to gather up all the need-to-do-truncating, so..
i guess a solution would be nice! but not expected,.!

No, but what is the case - you can´t record straight to your laptop ?
Depending on you mixer you can record it from some alternative outputs to a seperate recorder.
. Or? :D

I agree with those above.
- to be honest you do have the option with a SM card,. copy samples from live or whatever.. But if i was you id give the chopping a try, - once you get it in your fingers you wont want to copypaste "others" shits again.. :D

I find the gate pad usefull to "mute" .. it wont cut off the sound, but only play for as long as you have held down the pad. so if you keep that in mind and tap your pad quickly when recording a sequence - you can turn on the gate and "mute" everything exept the quick tap..
..did that make sence?

HELO, im not quite shure what you want. and i dont own a mpc. but if you send your sound source throu the 303 before you send it in to your mpc, you can sample with effects.
(SOUNDSOURCE -> 303RCA-IN/MIC -> EFX -> 303RCA-OUT/PHONES -> MPC)
You might want to put the 303 later in the chain. .. but ...
