For me a big difference is when editing a sample's loop length. On the 303, it will continue to loop when changing the end point. On the 404 it jumps back to the beginning of the loop. So on the 404 you have to listen to the entire sample after adjusting the end point. On the 303, after it loops ...

....what if i just get a stereo tape deck, will i be able to rec my beat in 1 take and still keep the pan?

pan on tape ???

yo peace to the sp fam. i made some beats with some ill pannings, so when i record them beats to tape (1 track/full beat) will i lose all the pannings? i think mono/stereo has some influence on this. sorry if this is a total n00b question
