Hmmm...see, that's the troublesome part. Most of my performances are live. I sample a few recordings (that I could slow down), but mainly I self-sample my own grand piano, guitar, vocals and assorted electronic instruments. So...it's tough if I can't play the other loops I've captured in the ...

Recording matching loops

Hey,

I'm working with an SP404 and trying to get it to play nice with my MPC1000 & do some fun looping.

Say I've got a short guitar or vocal sample & want to record a matching bass line or a harmony vocal. What's the best way to approach recording a matching loop on an SP404 with minimal pain ...
