I own and love my sp-404sx. While on craigslist found a 202 in my area for 70 cash. wondering if this is a good deal and whats unique about the 202. the time stretch and filter fx sound cool. Let me know what you think.

I've made a few samples from my guitar and vox amp. The signal flow that i used is as follows. Guitar to pedals. Pedals to amp input. Amp headphones out to sp mic in. Then Sp headphone out to hear. Works well and really simple all you need is enough 1/4 inch cables.

I made this track a few days ago and still kinda see it as a work in progress. Maybe putting some vocal samples on it or something. I've had the sx for a few months and the only thing i used it for on this was the drum pattern. Anyways give it a listen and let me know what you think. Any feedback is ...

I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to edit the volume of an entire pattern on the sx. I'm aware you can change the volume of individual samples. but it would be nice to like fade in patterns to looping samples.

thanks for the feed back. When I say first song I mean first one I've done on the 404 or any sampler. I recorded it a bunch of times and had a hard time getting everything to match up right , but then I started to like the way that it drifts in and out of time

I just got a 404sx and made this sound collage yesterday. Let me know what you think. I recorded a few samples and used a couple of stock sounds. I tried to get my daughters vocals on it but she's 5 months old and wasn't having it. so I had to used the preset kid sound. Enjoi.
