Over the years I've had my share of ds card problems with the sp 404 sx!

By now I've learned having an updated firmware matters (and is in existence, before this summer i was not aware of 1.07 existing), and the sp has a compatibility list for certain brands of sd cards.

Currently, my process for making music is:
Record external instruments into the 303. Then after each session i back up everything onto the computer using a general electric xD Picture Card usb adapter. It works great! But still I fear everytime i take the smart media

What is your favorite way of recording sound from your computer into your 303, 404, or other sp devices? My current setup is direct out to rca.

I came online just to post that suggestion...my 16 gig is not filled but almost everypad has something on it...and the project i'm doing has required long sample recording....So maybe to be hypothetically strict, a good system would require me to have many sd cards...In that case we would never have ...

Hey guys, I'm having a problem with recording and resampling.

A lot of the time, but not all the time, the recording will skip into a further section in the sample...same with resampling, almost like a CLIP, then skip.

I have had thoughts that maybe it is because the volume is too loud but ...

I've got a medium noob question here. I usually don't use the sequencer on my 404, but I am today, and would like to know if there's a difference in quality depending on what kind of cords I use...My USB interface is an M-Audio ProFire610, and I have a Belkin 1/8-1/8 with 1/8-1/4 ...

i've had experiences where i was doing a live set and i couldn't load songs because of some kind of protection....i don't really care about that but it's there even when i use my friends mp3 files of HIS beats.....and i know he didn't protect them in any way.

how do i bypass this?
