the sampling to sp via kaoss pad is a great thing... i do that with guitar... that way i can mess up the sound in many ways before even trimming them and resampling

been away from my sp for a rather long time but been messing with both ipad and ipod touch.. there is a lot of good stuff to build melodic stuff and sample directly to the sp... sunrizer has some insane sonic capabilities and the whole korg range.. ms20 polysix electribe and kaossilator.. tabletop ...

the synthstation keys are pretty nice and works well with nanostudio... the synthstation app is hell to navigate... too many layers instead of the ability to scroll down

its not even on the roland site... it comes on the 404sx cd-r...

10" on its way in the mail together with other goodies...

i had the exact same issue when i got my sx.. as said before the factory patterns are protected so what i did myself was to format another card which is nice to have anyway if you end up sampling a lot. the result will leave you with a clean card ready for recording new beats and samples.. you can ...

if you havent deleted the content of A then that could be the problem... its all filled from the beginning A B C D E is filled and F G H I J are empty.

the card management software worked way better than i expected... you can audition each pad and its easy to import or delete samples from the pads. and its possible to listen to samples before putting them on the card... now i just need to learn all the other stuff bout the machine since i just got ...
