Aham..yes I know that I can do it with mpc. ( I have the 1K), but that's odd that I cannot do that with the 505

1, That's sucks :cry:
2, Well, yes there is a techique to solve, I basically "mute" by adding some effect on those "annoying" samples. :) (isolator or something like that, I don't remember. I did this technique when I had a 404 for a couple week)

Hi Everyone,
I just bought an SP 505 a couple days ago.
A couple question:
1,
I recorded a sequence with a measure of 2 and after, I change it to 4, so I had 2 blank sequence on the end. Can I copy the first 2 complete sequence to the 2 new sequence?

I know what your saying, but I still think the sp404 should remember the pattern bpm. I think it doesn't really matter what bpm are the individual samplers, because you never really get the same bpm tempo on a pach where you using those samples. Uh....maybe I was too complicated.

That is really weird.
I don't think is a big problem for the manufacturers to solve this.
