effects
so, a friend of mine is currently using my 555 and i dont have access to it, were many states apart. I would love to have it to use the effects on it but obviously i cant, does anyone know a way to achieve the same effects through a vst plugin or daw?

ya know i played through hl 2 again just so i could get some samples, but i got to distracted by the actual game to pay attention to any samples =p

im looking for what is or sounds like a meteorite falling and crashing and police/ambulence/fire truck sirens...

thats pretty much what we're doing...i have to have the line in button on for it to record anything or to hear any samples...but it doesnt apply effects!
the sampler is currently hooked into the mixer via phono cables

hooking the 555 up to turntables/mixer
Me and a friend are trying to hook the 555 up to his mixer and turntables, I want it so that the effects can be applied to the rocords on the turntables, is that possible?

can you actually take the small piece of plastic off? i thought you set up whether it was primary or slave in the bios
but like i said its all hooked up like howit used to be and im still getting that message...

I'm having major pc issues...
I went and bought a cd/dvd brner and a new hard drive. I hooked up the burner and turned everything on to make sure the burner worked. Then I attempted to install this new harddrive. It would be the second harddrive in my system and I wanted it set as the slave...but ...

all i wanted is something to chop and edit small sections of a finished track. now FL studio can do that, but not the best...i would think it would be easier to see the actual sound wave to do the editing so i can see where it starts and ends and all that.
