it is just prearranged clips triggered with a (as sinapse said) corny midi controller.
you could do the same thing with a midi keyboard. He imposes "I am doing cool live shit" but in fact it is just prearranged lame ass clipping triggering. probably has the ableton 1bar safety net triggering ...

i agree with what you have to say a.d. samuel l jackson really only plays the badass macho man role and for him to do that is hilarious. I'm all for experimentation but samuel and a broadway performance, i wondering if he can really pull it off. someone like terrance howard would work out so much ...
