I also noticed there seems to be no built in mic. not sure how much that will be missed but wanted to point it out nevertheless.

hey guys i wana know what you think of my newest 404 beat. i sampled my friend playing the guitar on the internal mic and laid drums on it. then put a couple of instruments in for a hook and a bassline in reason. i think the rite emcee could rip this. let me kno wat u think!

yea hes right, its 4/4 triplets.

a 3/4 beat would typically have the kick fall on the 1 every time.

in ur case, as you say, the snare falls on the second 1, but that really isnt a "1" at all. its actually a 2. heres how to break it down

its a 4/4 beat, so you count 1,2,3,4

but the triplets come ...

thanks alot man! yea i did it all on the 404sx...i did track it into protools and did a little mixing tho..so its not all 404 out the box. sorry if that misled some of u. but thanks for all the compliments, ill continue to post up and check out some of ur stuff too!

ah ic...thats kind of a pain u stil have to resample to use 1 effect at a time. i guess it makes sense tho...i liked how u were able to do all that in the MPC, but the MPC's effects were wack
