ah. i never realized that about the polyphony. is it only 6 pads at a time?

Hey everybody,
i just got a 404 after my 303 basically died. My problem is I cannot loop other samples while a sequence is playing. actually, the samples will usually cut off when the pattern goes back to 1. is that normal? I dont remember the 303 doing that.

So, I tried to update my 303's operating system, because it was acting funny sometimes. So I plugged the 303 via MIDI cable into my Digi 003 rack, and I downloaded both of the OS updates from the Roland website. However, as the data was transferring to the sampler, the LCD screen started flashing ...
