Sorry to burst your bubble PHeMoX, but the chicken and the egg conundrum springs up when it comes to firmware upgrades with the sp-404.
Even if Roland released an upgrade to allow higher capacity cards, a compatible card would be required in order to install the firmware upgrade in the first place ...
