SP555 Sequencer

Was it so hard for the Roland to integrate a sequencer in the SP?? :( Yee, I know, it would have been perfect then...

DO u guys think that getting a MPC500 together with my SP would be a good complementary idea?

Thanks a lot!

Re: Bpm

So , the Sp looks like doesn't have to much ability in time strtching hmm? I wonder what was in their heads when they made a sampler with no capabilities, except apllying effects on... no editing , no nothing...

Bpm

I have this problem: I have 2 loops...that must play together. The thing is that one is at 138bpm and the other is at 145 bpm. Is that something I can do to play them at the same bpm?
Thanks a lot!

Re: MC909 or SP555

So Korg ESX is better at loading my samples and sequencing them? what about chopping? Is it easyer on the ESX, is it also precise?

Re: MC909 or SP555

Let me see if I got it right:
U say MC909 not the best choice and that the best choice is not the SP555 either, but the best is the Electribe EsX?

Re: MC909 or SP555

The thing is that if I want to simultaneously apply let's say a reverb on drums and delay on hats, that's not possible on sp555

MC909 or SP555

I own a SP555 and I was thinking to buy a MC909 for having drums in my live set up. I wanted to load the drums and perc samples in the MC909 and play them live, the thing is that it s not really cheap just for duin that and also pretty large to be carried to the live sets.

Is it a another way to do ...

Re:

The SP-555 can also sequence external gear...just not as nicely as the MPC
If would stay away from the MPC500. Ne thing above an MPC1000 (and the 60) is nice but the 500 is not made to be a stand alone machine... u cant even adjust the friggin level of your samples on it ! you gotta adjust the ...

How can I sync different samples (like a bassline and a lead line) easier, cause it s pretty hard at 152 bpm?
