yeah man try throwing some original bass on and my only tip is try giving the drums a lil more swing so it doesn't sound so forced

not sure what u mean by 'swing', like don't have so much empty space between each hit?

i took about a month off from the SP after coppin it cuz i got so discouraged that i suck and i'll never be able to make something that sounds like a beat....i posted a couple pretty crappy attempts on here a little while ago...

but now last night i had an SP guru givin me tips and ...

the loop i actually made on like the third day of fucking around with the SP that's why it's so repetitive and simple (and only uses 1 drum) but the other night i was thinkin well i just wanna put a full beat together, with an intro and use the eFX and everything so i ...

after playin around with this for practically 3 full days I'm definitely gettin used to it..

i was able to chop up a drum loop to get the drum sounds I want and I'm playing around with them over a chopped up sample....for my first beat ever, I've got an OKAY little melody (very simple) going ...

thanks for the words of advice everyone...still fuckin around with this today
