Clipping

Howdy,

Anyone got any tips on how to minimize clipping on the 404. I've sampled some banks from an old James Last record.....trust me...it's good. However, I'm getting some clips at the end of some (not all samples). I'm sampling at 118bpm as it's the closest to the timing of the track in ...

Heres hopin! I've attempted the trim etc but I agree, it's way to fiddly. Be handy if you could set it to sample the length of the sample if you know what I mean...but alas.....

Resampling and setting the time.

Hey Folks,

Been using the 404 for a few months now with a live band and by myself and endless hours have happily slipped by while I tweak a sample. Great machine imo.

One annoyance, however, is that you don't seem to be able to resample at a specified tempo (or maybe I'm missing something ...

Thanks Fauna,

In work at the moment (Oh joy!) but I'll give it a go when I get home. Just on the bpm. I could tap an approx tempo of the sample into the pattern but I neglected to record the sample in with a tempo assigned. Should I have done this?

Also, how do I switch between (say) sample ...

Converting samples to patterns...can it be done.

Hey Dudes & Dudettes,

Glad I found you'ze. I'll have many, many more questions after this I'm sure. Have a question concerning the above. Apologise if this has already been covered but I couldn't find a topic that fitted the bill.

I've recently purchased a 404 and I've been messing around as ...
