This is something I've barely gotten a hold of but...

If you use the DJFX on a sample / beat you can slow it down but still have it be automatically chopped up to keep the same tempo. Use the second knob to set the speed of the sample and the first knob to adjust how it'll be chopped. It's VERY ...

The one thing that keeps me with the 404 is the fact I'm actually playing music as opposed to programming a bunch of different things. Press the REC button and I'm recording, Hit the MFX button and the effects are immediately ready to go. It seems like with every other sampler / drum machine you ...

Use the Mark button. Say you got a loop, press the mark button once to set the start of your chop and press it again to set the end of it. To assign the chop to another pad use resample (hit Resample button then Rec, press which pad you want to assign the chop to, then press the pad where the ...

The 404 only has RCA line-out outputs, but that should get the job done.

What did I do first? I think I kissed the fucking box. I ordered one just when it came out because it looked like a great machine to start out with. I probably would've gotten an MPC but I don't exactly have $1000+ to spend like that.

I already knew how it worked from the online manual so I looped ...
